About Baker Haus
The Lodge is called the "Baker Haus" in honor of its Bavarian roots. Our great grandfather Herman Steiner settled in Glacier at the turn of the century from Bavarian Germany.
Having 6 bedrooms, this lodge is the ideal place for a vacation with the whole family, a large group of friends, and even some events like small weddings, engagement or retirement party, family reunions, or retreats.
Two of the bedrooms have two Queen-size beds providing with enough space for 8 people to sleep comfortably. One of the rooms and probably the favorite of the heads of the family has a King-size bed, another one has a comfy double bed, and the last one, perfect for the kids, has 1 double bed and 4 twin beds, so the whole place can host up to 20 guests. All of our linens and pillows are of the best quality, so you can truly relax and feel pampered.
Two full bathrooms are also available, and we include toiletries such as soap and shampoo, so you don’t have to worry about packing those things. One of the greatest aspects of this lodge is that being so large, it has two living areas, one it’s special to just sit around and share along with your loved ones, watching a good movie in front of the TV, or just enjoying a nice cup of hot cocoa in front of the gas fireplace. The upstairs living room also features a table for you to sit with all the kids and play board games. The second living room on the main level is a large rec room , with a poker table, dart board, pool table, foosball, pop-a-shot, oversize Jenga and connect four. There is also a loft that has kids toys, bean bag chairs and movie station.
The kitchen, big and spacious, is equipped with everything you’ll need to cook from the simplest to the most elaborate meals, depending on your mood. It has a stove and oven, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, large refrigerator, dishwasher, as well as all the utensils, kitchenware and tableware for that perfect meal.
Another amazing aspect of the lodge is that it is surrounded by decks, so you can have a cozy spot to enjoy your morning coffee while contemplating the beautiful nature in front of you, and why not, even spot some of the wildlife of the area.
Please don't forget that the lodge features a sauna and brand new hot tub.
